Midyear result above the market average

The holiday period is once again behind us and the processing of the midyear results has been completed in the meantime. For the BeLux, we recorded an organic growth in the first 6 months of 26.3% as compared with the same period in 2010. The turnover comes to EUR 22.5 million in the first half of the year, 88.5% of which originates from Belgium, with the remaining 11.5% originating from Luxembourg. Both countries made equal contributions and showed an almost identical growth curve.

The increase in turnover is directly proportional to the increase in the number of employees (550) and the amount of contracts. We remain loyal to our technological specialisations, but have noticed a further diversification in our client portfolio. The merger of Ausy Belgium and Data Flow Consultancy has its added value and we will therefore continue to carry the brand name “Ausy/DataFlow” as a quality label. The figures show that we are doing better than the market average and we will continue, together with the entire team, to progress in this trend, while keeping the dynamic character of our company.

In France, where the Ausy headquarters are located, the turnover has increased by 49.6% to EUR 116.8 million, partly thanks to a small number of takeovers, including one of the French company, Aptus. The organic growth from these activities amounts to +11.5%.

Since July, the group also has a stake of 51% in the German Elan. The company employs 200 experts and achieved a turnover of EUR 25 million in 2010. More details on this takeover and the growth strategy will be released on 14 September, after the close of the stock market.
