Handover of cheque to SOS Children’s Villages
Our New Year’s campaign in aid of SOS Children’s Villages has come to an end. This campaign, in which we asked for cooperation from our customers, raised the proud sum of €4220, which will all go towards the construction of an SOS Children’s Village in Kinshasa for 150 orphans.
SOS Children’s Villages is currently building an SOS platform in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Once completed, it will provide a home and a future to 150 orphans who will live in the SOS Children’s Village with an SOS mother and brothers and sisters. A total of 15 family homes will be built, as well as a nursery school, a primary school and an emergency medical centre.
The building work is making good headway, and the village is taking form. SOS Children’s Villages is expecting to welcome the first children into the new village in May. View photos of the SOS Children’s Village being constructed on: sos.dataflow.be
