Drupal Dev Days: Brusselse wafels en Belgisch bier

On the 5th and 6th of February more than 500 Drupal fans from all over Europe fell down to our capital. The campus of the VUB was the scene for the international Drupal Developer Days. As one of the major sponsors Ausy/DataFlow impressed with a Drupal training session and as icing on the cake "Belgian Waffles" and "Belgian Beer" for all participants.

Saturday Bart Meert (Competence Manager) and Christophe Lonnoy (Business Development Manager) made an early start to build up our Ausy/DataFlow set with a Belgian waffle booth. This proved literally and figuratively in the taste, because between the various Drupal sessions all the participants found their way unerringly to our waffle stand.

From 10 to 14 hours Wim Mostrey, one of our Drupal architects, facilitated a training session titled "Introduction to Drupal 6 Module Development". There were participants to develop their own Drupal Module. This particular session is from a more comprehensive training package that Ausy/DataFlow offers (see training in March).

On Sunday we placed our company in the spotlight with an introductory session on Ausy/DataFlow through our Solutions Director Andy Stynen. The title was "Drupal in an International Enterprise” to show how Ausy/DataFlow in Leuven acts as the central Competence Center of Drupal within our international group. On Sunday we treated all participants on a "good" Belgian beer ... Vedett, for this occasion personalized with our logo. A collector's item!

Conclusion: Ausy/DataFlow has impressed the Drupal Dev Days!
