  Junior Network Security Engineer

  Job description

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de follow-up van het netwerk van de klant, de status van de firewalls en de VPN gateways
  • Je neemt incidents aan, lost ze op (als 1st/2nd line) of je geeft ze door naar een 2nd/3rd line, indien je de oplossing niet kent/hebt
  • Je bewaakt end-to-end de afgesproken Service Level Agreements
  • Je coördineert de complexe incident resolution processes en schrijft incident rapporten
  • Je escaleert, indien nodig, de incidenten naar het management toe
  • Je voert changes uit:  netwerk optimalisaties, moves, het toevoegen en aanpassen van users of user-groups, security architectuur optimalisaties ...
  • Je bent betrokken in de change management follow-up en het aanpassen van de procedures
  • Je herziet en optimaliseert configuraties om zo de goede werking van het netwerk te garanderen
  • Je adviseert op gebied van development/maintenance/update, wat betreft interne procedures/cookbooks
  • Je schrijft technische documenten (bespreken van technologische issues, voorbereiden en documenteren van installaties en changes, rapportering op incidenten alsook het beschrijven van de root causes/oplossingen)

  Profile description

  • Bachelor/Industrieel Ingenieur of gelijk door ervaring
  • Interesse  in netwerking (TCP/IP) en op gebied van netwerk security concepten.  Voornamelijk op het vlak van:  Checkpoint & Cisco PIX firewalls, Nokia, Cisco, Netscreen VPN gateways
  • CCNP of CCSE & JNCIS-FWV certified (of bereid te behalen), alsook ervaring met het werken in grotere project teams en/of ervaring met procesmatige denkmethodes zijn een voordeel
  • Kennis en ervaring met network management tools
  • Kennis en ervaring met WAN/LAN apparatuur en Cisco routers tools
  • Je bent een sterke communicator, in zowel het Nl, Fr als Eng.  Daarenboven is de mondelinge kennis van andere Europese talen een meerwaarde
  • Je toont zin voor initiatief en bent resultaatgericht
  • Je beschikt over een doorgedreven klantgerichte aanpak
  • Je bent leergierig en nieuwe zaken schrikken je niet af
  • Je bent bereid mee te draaien in het permanentiesysteem van de klant
