Kelly Award
On 31 March 2014, DataFlow was presented with the “Kelly Supplier Excellence Award” in Zurich. Thanks to our efforts and service for Kelly Services with the client Johnson & Johnson, we have been crowned “Most Promising Supplier” in Europe.
It’s party time! DataFlow was started on 1 April 1999, and... it was no April Fool’s joke! With healthy ambitions, a professional approach and honest methods, we succeeded in earning a leading position in the Belgian IT market. In 15 years’ time, we went from 1 employee in the BeLux to 670!
From 24 to 27 February, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) was held in Barcelona. This is the annual high mass for anything having to do with mobile telephony. This was obviously something that DataFlow could not miss, so it dispatched two consultants to the gathering. You can read the account of Jonas and Kelvin here.
The annual results of the AUSY Group have been announced: total turnover amounts to EUR 324.2 million. This represents an increase of 0.9% over 2012. Together, AUSY Belgium and AUSY Luxembourg registered a healthy 7% increase in turnover. A fine result!
IT trainingroom
Since January 2014 DataFlow has its own IT Training Center and a brand-new training room fully equipped to provide specific IT training for our employees, but also for individuals and companies. On our Training Calendar a series of community Evenings and open IT training such as Drupal and Symfony2.
Our New Year’s campaign has come to an end. Over 400 cakes were distributed to our contacts and customers, raising the nice round sum of EUR 4,500. It was Tom Moons from SOS Children’s Villages who took receipt of the cheque. The money will be used for the educational programme at the SOS Children’s Village in Kinshasa.
The New Year started with a bang, loads of ambiance and fireworks. We, too, are toasting to a healthy and successful 2014! We wish to take this opportunity to close a contrasted working year: on the one hand a more difficult economic climate limited DataFlow’s growth, while on the other we made a number of successful investments for the expansion of our ONE Agency activities.
The AUSY Group published positive results on 30 September 2013. Turnover grew to EUR 240.2 million, a 2.1% increase compared with the same period last year.
September: Traditionally, September is the month in which the school year starts but it is also the perfect time to prepare for a strong last quarter. The next months have quite a lot in store for Dataflow and the ONE Agency including new offices, new projects and more.
After awarding the four-year framework contract for “Digital communication” to the ConnEct consortium (AUSY Belgium & Mostra) the European Commission asked the consortium to change its name. On 1st September, the new name NovaComm, an abbreviation of InNOVAtion in COMMunication, was announced.
